Poker is an internet based card game where players place wagers over the outcome of a game, namely the result of a hand. There are two kinds of poker: straight poker and draw poker. Draw Poker is a variation of regular poker that uses a pre-printed deck of cards and is played with a standard deck of 52. Draw Poker is considered a more “fun” kind of poker than straight poker.
The basic arrangement of the cards is such that there is a central table where the players sit. At this table, the players are dealt five cards face down. These cards are labeled A-J. Then each player receives two cards to write on top of their cards (called “action”), which consist of a hand and a club, and another two cards to call, which consist of a straight and a flush, and finally three cards to fold, called “flush”.
In a game of poker, each player has two cards to deal with, called “actions”, and these are followed by the other players in turn. Once all players have had their actions, then the dealer flips the cards over, reveals the contents of the pack, and deals out new cards onto the table. Then the dealer calls for the final round of poker. This is where the player with the highest card score wins.
