Athletic traits, also known as traits or aptitudes, are developed through persistent practice, study, observation, feedback, and feedback from others. Aesthetics, the ability to participate in activities in a planned way that meets the needs of the participant and safety are some of the factors involved in training for athletic endeavors. Some characteristics that most people would expect to see in athletes who participate in athletic endeavors are speed, endurance, agility, strength, and balance. Some of these characteristics may be natural, while others are acquired through training and practice.
Athletic atletic traits are defined as qualities that help individuals to perform at an optimum level. Athletic atletic traits include speed, stamina, strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance. The most commonly observed athletic atletic traits are track and field, volleyball, running, cross-country running, gymnastics, football, basketball, soccer, racing, track and field, softball, football, tennis, swimming, baseball, rugby, horseback riding, and bicycling. These athletic traits help individuals meet physical demands placed on them in sports such as running, swimming, climbing, falling, and lifting weights.
In order to become eligible for certification as a Level I athlete, a student must meet the standards of the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and must successfully complete a first year atletic training program. For students seeking certification as a Level I athlete, there are several eligibility requirements that must be met. First, a student must have been admitted to an accredited university or college, have a high school diploma, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Some universities and colleges require that athletes complete the athletic program as a part of their first year of enrollment or they may conduct a selection process to determine if a student is eligible for certification after the first year.
Students who successfully meet all of these requirements receive an athletic eligibility card from the Romanian National Institute of Sport Sciences (RISC). A Romanian national athlete is also required to complete two years of education before being eligible to compete. The RISC athletic scholarship is granted to an athlete based on the merit of his academic performance. There are six disciplines in which RISC awards scholarships, including gymnastics, track and field, tennis, swimming, basketball, softball, and baseball.
After making it through the first year atletic training program, students are then required to take part in the second year of classes. Students then take the qualifying exams given by the Romanian Sports Academy (RISC). This exam is conducted in cooperation with the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). When the students graduate from their RISC courses, they will be notified about their eligibility to participate in the soccer (football) national team and the Romanian National Football Team. The players must then follow the procedures required by each club to become officially registered with the Romanian sports club.
The ISL and RISC also collaborate on conducting a bi-national tournament called the Atletic qualifying tournament. This tournament was held in 2021 and was won by FC Vasluj. In the last few years, the ISL has made slight changes to the qualification process. They have reduced the number of qualifying rounds, which will reduce the number of players competing in the national team. The fourth qualification round of the tournament was held in 2021, and qualified teams were eliminated one by one. Currently, there are only six teams competing in the tournament.
