Domino Tile Strategy

Dominoes is an emerging family of game-based tile-based strategies, most notably played with wooden domino tiles. Each domino is simply a flat rectangular tile with a flat line dividing it into two square edges. The ends are either already marked with numbers or are blank. They are place at the beginning or end of the playing area. This makes Dominoes an extremely flexible game system and allows players to adjust their strategy to the situation at hand.

Dominoes can be easily adjusted to accommodate the changing situation by allowing players to move their domino onto different tiles when they reach their starting space, eliminating the need for counting previous moves. This makes dominoing much easier. If you count previous moves, the game can get overly complicated. However, this only applies if the tiles have already been dominoed. The only rule to govern when you can move your domino is whether or not the tile is empty. If no tiles are vacant, then you may move your domino to any adjacent empty tile.

Dominoes also have many different playing formats. They can be played in a head to head match, a race, and even in a multi-player game, in which each player receives three domino pieces each. Domino tiles are available in many different sizes and are often multi-colored, making them even more visually attractive. These factors, coupled with the fast paced action, make dominoing an enjoyable way to pass the time on a rainy afternoon.
