Difference Between Online and Faced Learning
Difference Between Online and Faced Learning
Online dictionaries are the most popular online resources. They can be accessed from a computer or a laptop, and they can be used indefinitely. The words and meanings that are found in an online dictionary are completely correct and verified, so you can rely on them entirely. In fact, the accuracy rate for online dictionaries is usually much higher than for printed ones.
Wikipedia is another popular online source. It is an online encyclopedia which was established in 2006. The content for Wikipedia is generally considered to be completely accurate, and it is checked regularly by editors as well. However, many editors consider any website that is not a part of the major international organization to be offline, because it is not connected to the internet connection which would be considered as a gateway to the internet. For this reason, Wikipedia is considered offline when connected to a wireless internet connection rather than a broadband connection.
A lot of people are starting to change their attitude about Wikipedia, and consider it to be completely offline while using it to access online learning resources. This is because they are not connected to the internet connection that would allow them to access Wikipedia from any place. Even if they use a portable computer, they will not be able to access Wikipedia from any place because it is not connected to the internet connection. Therefore, any offline learning resource that is not part of the online learning system is considered offline.
This basically means that all offline reading material is considered to be non-functional. All offline versions of books, periodicals, journals, newspapers, magazines, as well as other similar printed resources, including classroom materials should be considered offline even if they are used for reference purposes. Even if they are used for online browsing, they cannot be considered as part of the online state. Even if they are used for offline reading purposes, the user should consider whether he or she wants to get connected to the internet or not.
As long as the user is online, he or she can access the entire library at any time. In fact, it may even be better to access these resources using a browser rather than using a book. The online library allows the user to be more flexible in terms of accessing materials that would be better if done face-to-face. For example, there are situations where one would not be able to access an in-person book store or face-to-face teacher if he or she has already completed his or her class work.
The online learning and blended learning experience may not be identical. Some believe that the difference is the fact that online learning can be done from anywhere and at any time. Others believe that the difference lies in the fact that online learning requires the active participation of the student. In the face-to-face classroom scenario, the teacher usually sits in the front row, as opposed to being at the front of the computer screen. Thus, the blended learning does not make a big difference in the traditional classroom setup.
